For The Love of Animals Lottery

Main Draw

  1. Total value of all prizes is $95,452.56
  2. A maximum of 19,091 tickets are available for purchase.  
  3. Ticket price is $25 CAD each or 5 tickets for $100 CAD or 25 tickets for $250 CAD.  The 25 tickets for a $250 CAD package, is limited to 300 orders. The lottery system is set to discontinue selling this package once 300 orders have been processed. 
  4. Total value of the 50/50 Raffle is to be 50% of all 50/50 ticket sales. The total value of the prize drawn is dependent on the total number of tickets sold.
  5. Ticket prices for the optional 50/50 raffle are 5 tickets for $10, 30 tickets for $20, 250 tickets for $50 and 500 tickets for $75. 50/50 tickets can only be purchased with a valid purchase of a For The Love of Animals Car Lottery ticket. The amount of the 50/50 jackpot will be displayed on the website.
  6. Valid ticket is receipt and proof of purchase.  
  7. Only valid tickets are eligible for the draws.  
  8. Tax receipts cannot be issued for ticket purchases.  
  9. Ticket purchasers must be located in the province of Ontario at time of purchase. 
    10. Purchasers must be at least 18 years of age.  
  10. Tickets cannot be purchased for or in the name of persons less than 18 years of age.  
  11. The following, and family residing in the household are not eligible to purchase tickets:  
    • Management and Staff of the Ottawa Humane Society 
    • Ottawa Humane Society Board of Directors
    • Management and Staff of Audi West Ottawa 
    • Management and staff of 20Eight Digital 
    • Employees of the registered gaming supplier, BUMP a Division of Canadian Bank Note Company Ltd.
    • Employees of the Alcohol Gaming Commission of Ontario
  1. Early Bird Draws:
  • The 1st Early-Bird Draw is a cash prize of $2,000. All qualifying tickets for the 1st Early-Bird Draw must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. The 1st Early-Bird Draw will occur at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at the Ottawa Humane Society office located at 245 West Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K2E 1A6. 
  • The 2nd Early-Bird Draw is a cash prize of $2,000. All qualifying tickets for the 2nd Early-Bird Draw must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. The 1st Early-Bird Draw will occur at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at the Ottawa Humane Society office located at 245 West Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K2E 1A6. 
  • The 3rd Early-Bird Draw is a cash prize of $2,000. All qualifying tickets for the 3rd Early-Bird Draw must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. The 3rd Early-Bird Draw will occur at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at the Ottawa Humane Society office located at 245 West Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K2E 1A6. 
  • The 4th Early-Bird Draw is a cash prize of $2,000. All qualifying tickets for the 4th Early-Bird Draw must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. The 3rd Early-Bird Draw will occur at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at the Ottawa Humane Society office located at 245 West Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K2E 1A6. 
  • The 5th Early-Bird Draw is a cash prize of $2,000. All qualifying tickets for the 5th Early-Bird Draw must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. The 5th Early-Bird Draw will occur at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at the Ottawa Humane Society office located at 245 West Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K2E 1A6.  
  • The 6th Early-Bird Draw is a cash prize of $2,000. All qualifying tickets for the 6th Early-Bird Draw must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. The 5th Early-Bird Draw will occur at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at the Ottawa Humane Society office located at 245 West Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K2E 1A6.  
  • The 7th Early-Bird Draw is a cash prize of $2,000. All qualifying tickets for the 7th Early-Bird Draw must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. The 7th Early-Bird Draw will occur at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at the Ottawa Humane Society office located at 245 West Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K2E 1A6. 
  • The 8th Early-Bird Draw is a cash prize of $2,000. All qualifying tickets for the 8th Early-Bird Draw must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. The 7th Early-Bird Draw will occur at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at the Ottawa Humane Society office located at 245 West Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K2E 1A6. 
  • Main draw prize is a 2025 Audi Q5 valued at $79,452.56 including taxes. Prize value is approximate and based on the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (“MSRP”) at the time the purchase agreements were confirmed. Please be advised that the colour and some features may be different from what is presented on the website and other promotional materials.
  • Main draw occurs at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 31, at 245 West Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K2E 1A6.  The deadline to purchase tickets, to be included in the main draw, is 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 31. 
  1. The 50/50 prize is 50% of all add-on 50/50 raffle tickets sold. The 50/50 prize draw occurs at 1 p.m. on March 31, 2025, at 245 West Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K2E 1A6. The deadline to purchase 50/50 tickets, to be included in the 50/50 draw, is 11:00 a.m. March 31, 2025. 
  2. Tickets will be sold using the electronic raffle system supplied by BUMP Worldwide Inc. Winning ticket numbers will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the lottery. 
  1. All valid tickets included in the early-bird prize draws, including the early-bird winning tickets, will be included in the main draw and 50/50 prize draw.
  1. Winning ticket number, and name and place of residence of the winner(s) will be recorded and announced immediately after each draw through the event website.  
  1. Lottery winners will be notified by an Ottawa Humane Society representative. Such notification will include information about the prize claim procedure.  
  1. Winning ticket number and name of winner will be broadcast by the Ottawa Humane Society for the For the Love of Animals Lottery.  
  1. Early-bird draw prizes can be picked up at the Ottawa Humane Society or shipping can be arranged at the winner’s expense.  
  1. Main draw prize (2025 Audi Q5) is awarded on an unconditional ownership basis inclusive of all taxes, freight charges, pre-delivery inspection (PDI) costs and dealer fees. 
  1. Winner of the main prize must take delivery of the vehicle as awarded and is responsible for licensing and insurance from the time of delivery/ownership. Delivery of the vehicle is P. O.D. (proof of delivery), Ottawa, Ontario.

  2. In these Rules and Regulations, and in all electronic or printed material related to this lottery:   
a) “AGCO” means the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario;  
b) “For The Love of Animals Lottery” means the AGCO approved electronic lottery system designed by  Bump Worldwide Inc. and operated by the Ottawa Humane Society for the conduct of this lottery;  
c) “Dashboard” means the Dashboard component of the computer-controlled system designed by Bump Worldwide Inc. for the conduct of this lottery;  
d) “Draw” means the random selection of a winning ticket number by the Ottawa Humane Society through the For The Love of Animals lottery system;  
e) “Player” means a person who is eligible to participate in this lottery in accordance with the Rules and Regulations; 
f) “Prize” means the consideration or item identified by the Ottawa Humane Society that is provided to the winner of a draw in return for the purchase of a valid ticket;  
g) “Ticket Number” means a unique numerical sequence randomly issued by the For The Love Of Animals Lottery as set out on a Valid Ticket;  
h) “Valid Ticket” means the For The Love of Animals Lottery ticket issued by the Ottawa Humane Society that is not void; 
i) “Winner” means the person who is the bearer of a winning ticket and who satisfies all conditions established by the Ottawa Humane Society to claim the prize;  
j) “Winning Number” means the number of a valid ticket selected as the winner during a draw;  
k) “Winning Ticket” means a valid ticket that bears a ticket number matching the winning number of a draw.
