Chrome Browser:

• Open the Chrome app on your Android device.

• Tap the three dots (menu) in the top-right corner and select Settings.

• Tap Site settings.

• Tap Location.

• To enable or disable location for all sites, toggle the Location switch on or off.

• To manage location permissions for specific websites:

  • Scroll through the list of sites and adjust permissions individually.

• Important: Make sure your device’s general location services are enabled in Android Settings > Location, or Chrome will not be able to use location data.

 iOS/Safari Devices:

• Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

• Tap Privacy & Security.

• Tap Location Services.

• Scroll down and tap Safari Websites.

• Choose one of the following options for location access:

  • While Using the App – allows location only when Safari is in use.

  • Ask Next Time – Safari will ask each time it needs your location.

  • Never – blocks all location access for Safari.

• For specific website location permissions or global Safari location settings:

  • Go back to the main Settings screen.

  • Scroll down and tap Safari (under the list of apps).

  • Tap Location to adjust permissions for all websites or individual sites.

Q1. I cannot access For The Love of Animals Lottery. What should I do? 

Per AGCO regulations – you must be located within the province of Ontario at the time of your ticket purchase. Your device’s locations services must be turned on to verify your location prior to entry to the online For The Love of Animals Lottery sales platform. Users must also agree to all Terms and Conditions outlined. 

Q2. Why does For The Love of Animals Lottery require my location? 

Per AGCO regulations – you must be located within the province of Ontario at the time of your ticket purchase. Your current location will confirm your eligibility. 

Q3. What if I purchased my tickets, but I haven’t received them at my email address?  

1.  Please check you junk mail or spam folders in your email account. If there, select “not junk mail/spam” and for future ticket purchases, these should go directly into your main inbox.  
2.  Often simple spelling errors can easily occur when typing in details during the check-out process. You are responsible for entering your contact information in accurately. If you have not received your tickets within 24 hours, please contact events@ottawahumane.ca to retrieve your information and to send it to the correct address.
